Renewal FAQ

April 15th annually through June 30th.  The delinquent renewal period is open from July 1st through July 31st.

April 1-June 30: The fee is $65.

July 1-31: The fee is raised to $130.

August 1: The license is lapsed.  To reinstate with a new application prior to the following June 30, the fees are application fee of $125 and the delinquent renewal fee of $130.

Log in to your dashboard. After entering your CE, select the forms tab, then the renewal tab.

CE must be entered in the CE tab of your dashboard first before beginning your renewal.

The required number of continuing education hours must be entered in your licensee dashboard prior to license renewal. Please remember that LBESPA uses actual contact hours (1 hour). You may find the CE Flyer helpful in determining where your hours should be counted.

If you are an Audiologist who is not dispensing hearing aids and you wish to opt out of dispensing to avoid the 3-hour dispensing continuing education requirement, you may sign the affidavit or check where indicated on the online renewal.

If you are being audited, you will receive a dashboard notification and an email with audit requirements.

If you are being audited, require supervision, or have submitted a notarized statement, processing times make take 7-10 working days. All other renewals will automatically be approved, and your id card will be updated in the dashboard.

You will receive a notification alert in your dashboard with instructions.

You will be required to submit a notarized statement explaining why supervision did not occur during that time frame.

You must enter CE hours in the Dashboard as 1 contact hour = 1 CE. LBESPA does not accept hours entered as ASHA hours.
