Board Member Bio

Lucie LeDoux, MS, L-AUD-SLP, CCC-A

Lucie B. LeDoux was appointed to the Board by Governor John Bel Edwards in June of 2019.  She obtained her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (then USL) in Communicative Disorders. In 1999, she received a Master of Science in Audiology and has since completed graduate studies in Speech-Language Pathology both at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.  Having worked as an audiologist and speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings, including public and private schools as well as early intervention, Mrs. LeDoux has dedicated her career to pediatrics. She has been in private practice since 2011 during which time she has provided contract speech-language pathology services (live and via telepractice), been an early steps provider, as well as provided private evaluations and therapy. Mrs. LeDoux currently owns a pediatric therapy center in St. Francisville, LA where she provides speech, language, feeding, and reading evaluations and therapy for children.  She is passionate about helping children with developmental skills and believes in a family-centered approach.
